President

Matt Floyd is the Co-Founder and Senior Partner of CPSA and currently serves as CPSA’s President.  He began his financial services career in the early 90s while attending college in Sacramento. Matt earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and is a former Amador County Deputy Sheriff and member of the Sheriff's office SWAT and Dive Teams.  Matt served as a member of the University of Pacific (UOP) Family Institute Advisory Council and is an Eagle Scout. As a long time, football and golf coach Matt brings coaching and coaching philosophy into many aspects of his life and business.  

In his spare time, Matt, and his wife of 29 years, enjoy travel and many outdoor hobbies together but none they are more passionate about than golf.  Matt is the father to three children who are all military veterans two of which are still serving in the United States Military.  Matt’s wife is a Stage 3 Breast Cancer survivor and Matt remains involved in many philanthropy projects for Breast Cancer awareness, early detection, and treatment.
